Weekend Simulcast Preview

Aqueduct dominates graded stakes race discussions this weekend with the Grade 1 Cigar Mile heading a star-studded bill. Ebro Greyhound Park will have all the action live via our simulcast service. Aqueduct also stages the Grade 2 Demoiselle and Rensen Stakes for the two year olds plus the Grade 3 feature, the Comely for the three year olds.

In the Cigar Mile, Breeder's Cup winners Goldencents and Groupie Doll will have plenty of admirers and both look tough. The value will be underrated Forty Tales who has the speed to "steal the thunder" of the major players. Wedding Toast looks a great value play in the Comely Stakes after three straight wins while Cairo Prince looks very promising and is the one to beat in the Rensen ahead of Wicked Strong and Honor Code. Stopchargingmaria is the filly to beat in the Demoiselle after a brilliant win in the Tempted Stakes recently.

Churchill Downs has two Grade 2 features, the $175,000 Golden Rod and the $175,000 Kentucky Jockey Club. Stonetastic and Vexed look likely prospects for the Golden Rod while Financial Mogul and Almost Famous both look tough in the Kentucky Jockey Club. Meanwhile, Betfair Hollywood Park stages a couple of Grade 3 two year old features, the Generous Stakes and Miesque Stakes with Clenor and Nesso looking strong chances in the Miesque, and Aotearoa the one to beat in the Generous. Gulfstream Park is shaping up for a big winter season and stages two 2 year old features, the Pulpit Stakes and Wait A While Stakes, both over the mile on the turf.

Meanwhile, here are the top value plays for Friday's simulcast action. Meanwhile, here are the top value plays for Friday's simulcast action. At Aqueduct, Notmyfirstime looks tough in the first race while Centring has the credentials to take the feature Go for Wand Handicap, the ninth race. At Betfair Hollywood Park, there's solid mail for Warrensgoldenyears in race 1 while in the feature Citation Handicap, He Be Fire N Ice will be excellent value. And at Calder, L.
